The low sun, as we approach the solstice, and interesting shadows made by the plane trees added to the fun of a trip to Clermont-l’Hérault today – a town full of the kind of small shops that are a joy to visit, so unlike the modern-day shopping mall experience.
I love the third picture of the window and veranda 🙂
I just mentioned this on Rosemary’s blog and you might like it too if you haven’t already seen it, Roger too if he pops in here later.
I saw a great film last night that might appeal to you – Comme un Chef – it was very funny 🙂
Thanks for the recommendation – I’m going to look for it.
I love ALL of these! The complex architectural details, complicated by shadows. Marvelous.
Thanks! More experiments with LoJ’s new lens – it was great fun!
That gentle winter sun and the delicate shadows are very appealing, as is your description of small shops in this pretty town.
Beautiful shots. The Sun may be too low for growing anything but it certainly does create long, interesting shadows. Add buildings with some great features and you’ve got the makings of some great photography. Of course, a new lens doesn’t hurt.
Continue having fun with it. 🙂
lovely set of photos, with all that light and shadow
Nicely seen pictures which make me wish I was there. Lovely atmosphere.
