After two days of heavy rain – with flooding in rivers further south, where one driver drowned, and dangerously high waves along all the Languedoc-Roussillon coast – the dark clouds began to retreat to the mountains and the sun shone on the plane trees.
Beautiful photo.
That’s a great picture 😉
You should frame that photo, it’s absolutely beautiful.
What a great pic – mad for it. Well seen.
A deeply appealing landscape, one of many great ones you’ve done, one of my favorites so far. The bands of color, the bands of cloud, the light on the plane trees: gorgeous!
Beautiful landscape and capture of the light skipping across it.
What a lovely photo…it looks like a painting. I know you were happy to have the sun shining brightly again.
Beautiful and maybe even more beautiful after the terrible, hey? Today we have RAIN here… ahhhh, mmmmm…
Your photo is beautiful.
We were supposed to be bottling our wines on Mon, Tues, Wed. Monday went OK but the forecast for the next two days was bad, so we worked extra on the Monday, cancelled the next two days and rebooked for April.
Then the rain came! The bottling lorry coldn’t leave on Wed. night becase of the floods so we finished or bottling on the thursday!!
Silver linings!
